Dragon Team Shuai Fa: Throws, Sweeps, and Clinch Control Complementary Material

ABOUT

This course serves as an essential companion to the main Dragon Team curriculum, focusing on the powerful and practical art of Shuai Fa (摔法) — Chinese throwing techniques. Designed to enhance the student's progression through the graduation system, this program introduces foundational and advanced skills in throws, leg sweeps, clinch control, and takedown defense. ✅Through step-by-step instruction, students will learn how to: ✅Seamlessly integrate throws and sweeps into their striking or Sanda-based sparring. ✅Develop balance-breaking and off-balancing strategies to neutralize stronger opponents. ✅Control the opponent at close range through clinch work and dynamic body positioning. ✅Apply traditional techniques in modern combat scenarios for both sport and self-defense. ✅Understand the principles of leverage, timing, and entry angles rooted in classical Chinese martial arts. This course is not part of the core exam requirements but offers vital complementary material that supports overall skill development and prepares students for advanced levels. Whether you're preparing for in-person testing or looking to refine your understanding of Chinese grappling, this module will significantly elevate your physical and tactical abilities. Join us and deepen your connection to the complete martial path, where grappling meets striking, and tradition meets functionality.
